FORCE SIMULATIONS

The simulations for the Varel FORCE project went through multiple iterations before the correct cutting behavior was achieved. It was a tricky process, requiring lots of testing and seeding simulations in search of the proper result.

TENACIOUS TORQUE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Our client asked to include a CG Worker in their animation, and, well, we panicked. Creating CG humans isn’t for the faint of heart. Through careful planning, and R&D, however, we were able to get a decent result.

AMP VFX

Many of the shots in the AMP film required the integration of CG into live footage. We took the raw footage, created masks to separate the live footage from the CG, and then matched the CG over the video for a seamless VFX experience.

HYDRA WATER

With a project name like ‘HYDRA’ we knew we were in for some fun water simulations. We dove right in (oof), and jammed out on all different types of fluid effects.

REATA LOOK DEVELOPMENT

We brought in a consulting art director (AD) to help push the aesthetics of the Reata animation to the next level. Our goal with the AD was to improve the film’s appearance by 10%. 10% (and some baby!) was achieved by polishing the existing look development.
